Matias Soulé appears to be edging closer to a departure from Roma after reportedly softening his stance on a move to Saudi Arabia.
According to Andrea Di Carlo of Il Romanista, the Argentine winger has been convinced by a lucrative contract worth around €12 million per season, leading him to accept the possibility of continuing his career in the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Ahli and Al-Diraiyah are expected to submit formal offers to Roma in the coming hours, with proposals believed to be worth around €30 million plus bonuses.
Should an agreement be reached, the clubs will move on to the contractual and administrative stages of the transfer. Roma are hopeful the deal can be completed without any late complications or change of heart from the player.
A sale at those figures would allow the Giallorossi to register a capital gain of approximately €15 million, providing an important financial boost as the club continues to navigate its Settlement Agreement obligations.
