Roma Hold Crucial UEFA Talks as Club Prepares to Accelerate Summer Transfer Plans

Roma are entering a pivotal stage of their summer planning, with discussions currently underway that could shape the club’s transfer strategy for the weeks ahead.

The Friedkin ownership is engaged in direct talks with UEFA as the Giallorossi seek clarity on their financial position and the operational flexibility available following the June 30 Settlement Agreement deadline.

The outcome of those discussions is expected to play a key role in determining Roma’s room for manoeuvre in the transfer market as sporting director Tony D’Amico and head coach Gian Piero Gasperini continue building the squad for the new season.

With the financial deadline coming to a close, Roma are preparing to move into the next phase of the summer window. Starting in July, the club is expected to officially step up negotiations on both incoming and outgoing deals as it looks to strengthen the squad while maintaining financial stability.

The coming days could therefore prove decisive, not only for Roma’s relationship with UEFA but also for the pace and ambition of the club’s transfer business for the remainder of the summer.
