Matias Soulé’s agent has denied reports suggesting Roma have received concrete offers for the Argentine playmaker.
Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, Martin Guastadisegno made it clear that, despite the many rumours surrounding Soulé’s future, no formal proposal has been presented to the player’s camp.
“All the rumours of offers for him are not true, and we cannot reject a proposal that has not been made to us,” Guastadisegno said.
The agent confirmed that he has held conversations with several clubs, but insisted that none have taken concrete steps toward a deal.
“I have spoken with several teams, but none have come forward concretely, and so we are not getting anywhere.”
Guastadisegno also underlined Soulé’s value to Roma, while criticizing the constant speculation surrounding the player.
“Soulé is an asset of Roma, and if someone from within lets all these rumours out, they are only doing harm to Matias.”
The comments add further uncertainty to Soulé’s future, with Roma continuing to evaluate the market but no real negotiation currently underway for the Argentine attacker.
