Matias Soulé’s future remains uncertain, but one expected development has yet to materialize.
According to the latest reports, both Roma and the Argentine winger’s entourage were anticipating an official offer from Borussia Dortmund. However, the Bundesliga club has yet to submit any formal proposal.
Despite being repeatedly linked with Soulé in recent weeks, Dortmund have not taken concrete steps to open negotiations with the Giallorossi. As a result, talks over a potential transfer have failed to progress.
Roma continue to value the 22-year-old highly and are not expected to entertain offers below their asking price. While interest from several European clubs remains, no club has yet made the decisive move to begin formal negotiations.
For now, Soulé remains a Roma player, with the Giallorossi still waiting to see whether Borussia Dortmund will turn their long-standing interest into a concrete bid.
