Anass Salah-Eddine Returns to Roma as PSV Loan Comes to an End

Anass Salah-Eddine has officially returned to Roma following the conclusion of his loan spell at PSV Eindhoven.

The Dutch club confirmed the departure of the Moroccan left-back with a farewell message on social media, thanking him for his commitment during a season that ended with PSV lifting their 30th Eredivisie title.

“Anass, you promised to fight for the shirt and you did exactly that. Together we celebrated our third consecutive league title. Thank you for your commitment, energy and contribution to our club. We wish you all the best for the next chapter of your career,” PSV wrote.

Salah-Eddine made 25 official appearances under Peter Bosz during his time in Eindhoven. PSV held an option to buy the defender for €8 million, but the clause expired without being activated after the two parties failed to reach an agreement over personal terms.

With his loan officially ending on July 1, the 23-year-old is now back at Roma, where his future will be decided during the summer transfer window.
