Roma have rejected Juventus’ €40 million offer for Mile Svilar, reaffirming that the goalkeeper remains a key part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s project.
According to Corriere della Sera, Juventus made their move before the June 30 deadline, hoping Roma’s need to generate capital gains would open the door to a deal. However, the Giallorossi refused to sell one of their most important players despite the significant offer.
The report also claims Juventus proposed including Teun Koopmeiners in the operation, but Roma were not interested. The Friedkin ownership remain determined to keep the club’s core intact, with Svilar considered untouchable ahead of the new season.
