Gian Piero Gasperini has made his position clear: Mile Svilar is not for sale.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Roma coach has imposed a total veto on the goalkeeper’s departure despite several days of calls from Juventus, who had explored a possible move for the Serbian international.
The Bianconeri have shown concrete interest in Svilar, but the operation is not considered feasible as things stand. Roma view the goalkeeper as a key pillar of Gasperini’s project and have no intention of opening the door to negotiations.
After rejecting Juventus’ previous approach, the Giallorossi remain firm in their stance. Svilar is expected to stay in the capital as Roma continue building their squad around the players considered essential for the new season.
