Roma are closing in on an agreement with Basel regarding the future resale clause tied to Riccardo Calafiori’s transfer.
According to Filippo Biafora, the two clubs have reached an understanding over the amount Basel will pay to settle the clause, with only the payment structure and final terms still being discussed.
The negotiations are now in their final stages, and an agreement is expected to be completed soon once the payment conditions are finalized.
Resolving the Calafiori dossier would provide Roma with additional financial certainty as the club continues to navigate the summer transfer window and work on strengthening Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
