Roma continue to work on strengthening the left side of their attack as Gian Piero Gasperini looks to add more pace and quality to his squad this summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Crysencio Summerville remains the club’s primary target for the position. However, the Giallorossi are also evaluating alternative options should a deal prove difficult.
One of the latest names to emerge is Martial Godo, with Roma having made initial enquiries about the Strasbourg winger in recent days. The young attacker is viewed as an intriguing profile with significant room for development.
The report also reveals that sporting director Tony D’Amico is working on another attacking target whose identity has been kept under wraps. Described as a top level player the mystery candidate is reportedly being pursued in complete secrecy.
As Roma’s transfer plans accelerate following the June 30 financial deadline, the search for a new winger remains one of the club’s top priorities ahead of the new season.
