Roma could face fresh competition in the race for Sven Mijnans as Como continue to push for the AZ Alkmaar midfielder.
According to Flavio Tassotti, interest from Cesc Fàbregas’ Como 1907 has intensified, with the Serie A side now showing strong intent to sign the Dutch playmaker.
Roma have been monitoring Mijnans for some time, but they are not alone. Bologna FC 1909 and Juventus FC have also been tracking the 25-year-old, who impressed with AZ Alkmaar last season.
The report adds that the possibility of joining Como is an appealing one for the player, potentially giving the ambitious Lombardy club an edge if they decide to move forward with negotiations.
