Roma Hold Firm on Artem Dovbyk as Genoa Turn to Aubameyang

Roma remain determined to part ways with Artem Dovbyk this summer, but only on their own terms.

According to Sky Sport, Genoa recently explored the possibility of signing the Ukrainian striker on loan as Daniele De Rossi looks to strengthen his attack. However, Roma made it clear that Dovbyk is only available on a permanent transfer, with the club valuing him at around €25 million.

The asking price is considered too high for Genoa, prompting the Rossoblù to evaluate alternative options. As reported by Matteo Moretto, De Rossi’s side are now also considering Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with Marseille only willing to negotiate a permanent sale.

Meanwhile, Spain remains Dovbyk’s most likely destination. Real Betis continue to monitor the striker’s situation, although no concrete move has yet materialized.

Roma continue to work on finding a solution that satisfies both the club and the player as they reshape Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad ahead of the new season.
