Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri Provides Positive Update on New Roma Stadium Project

Roma’s long-awaited new stadium in Pietralata has taken another step forward, with Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri offering an encouraging update on the project.

Speaking during the presentation of Il Sole 24 Ore‘s report on major sporting events hosted in the Italian capital, Gualtieri confirmed that the project has reached the decision-making phase of the Conference of Services, a key step in the approval process.

“We’re at the decision-making stage of the Services Conference for Roma’s stadium in Pietralata. It won’t just be a wonderful stadium, but also the redevelopment of an entire quadrant of the city. Let’s move forward.”

The mayor reiterated that the project extends beyond the construction of a new home for the Giallorossi, emphasizing its role in transforming and revitalizing the surrounding Pietralata district.

The update marks another positive milestone for Roma as the club continues working toward making its long-awaited stadium project a reality.
