Roma are continuing to work on strengthening the left side of Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Gasperini and sporting director Tony D’Amico are focusing on the left flank, with Diego Moreira still a target. Roma remain in contact with Strasbourg, who value the player at around €40 million.
The operation remains complicated due to the French club’s high asking price, but Roma are exploring possible formulas. Gasperini would also be open to taking a left-sided winger on loan, provided the club can still complete a deal for Moreira.
For now, D’Amico continues to work on the file as Roma look for a player capable of giving Gasperini more options, pace and width on the left.
