Roma continue to explore several names on the transfer market as they look to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
While much of the focus remains on the attack, the Giallorossi are also evaluating possible midfield options in case one of Manu Koné or Neil El Aynaoui leaves the club for a major offer.
According to Leggo, one of the names being monitored by sporting director Tony D’Amico is Quinten Timber. The Dutch midfielder, born in 2001, is being considered as a potential replacement should Roma decide to sacrifice one of their current midfielders.
Timber could become an opportunity on the market, with the player expected to leave Olympique Marseille this summer if the right conditions emerge.
At the moment, there are no negotiations underway, but Roma are keeping the midfielder’s profile on their list in order to be ready if an important midfield exit materializes.
