Zeki Celik is moving closer to extending his stay at Roma, but there was also outside interest in the Turkish full-back.
According to Eleonora Trotta, Fiorentina made an inquiry for Celik in recent weeks, exploring the possibility of a move as his contract situation remained unresolved.
However, the defender now has an agreement with Roma over a renewal, with the Giallorossi working to finalize the formal steps.
Celik’s future appears set to remain in the capital, where he is expected to continue as part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad for the new season.
