Diego Moreira remains a name on Roma’s radar as the club continue to evaluate options for the left flank.
According to Filippo Biafora and Mana Sport Roma, Roma’s management are still following the Strasbourg winger closely. Gian Piero Gasperini would reportedly welcome the player with great enthusiasm, viewing him as a strong fit for the role he wants to strengthen.
For now, however, any concrete discussion is expected to be postponed until after the World Cup.
The main obstacle remains Strasbourg’s valuation. The French club continue to ask for around €40 million, a figure that has been known for days and makes the operation complicated.
Roma remain interested, but the timing and financial conditions will be decisive before the Giallorossi can make any serious move.
