Frederic Massara has officially joined Juventus as the club’s new Chief Football Officer.
The former Roma sporting director leaves behind his recent spell in the capital, which came to an end due to a technical incompatibility with Gian Piero Gasperini, and now begins a new chapter with the Bianconeri.
Juventus confirmed that Massara will report directly to CEO Giovanni Carnevali as part of the club’s plan to strengthen the structure of the men’s football area.
In his new role, Massara will oversee the management and development of the men’s sporting department, working closely with sporting director Marco Ottolini on the club’s sporting strategies and projects.
Juventus praised Massara’s career, highlighting his experience with prestigious clubs including AC Milan and AS Roma.
Carnevali also welcomed the appointment, saying Massara’s expertise and deep knowledge of football will add value to Juventus’ organizational structure.
