TEAMtalk: Chelsea Open to Garnacho Offers Amid Roma Links

Alejandro Garnacho’s future at Chelsea could already be uncertain, with the Argentine winger again being linked with a move away from London.

According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea are now willing to listen to offers for Garnacho, who joined from Manchester United last summer for around £40 million. In recent days, his name has also been linked with Roma as the Giallorossi continue to evaluate attacking options for Gian Piero Gasperini.

Chelsea have publicly valued the player at around £90 million, more than double the fee they paid a year ago. Privately, however, TEAMtalk reports that an offer closer to £60 million, around €70 million, could force the club to make a decision.

Roma are not alone in monitoring the situation. In Italy, Napoli are said to be the most concrete club interested, with Massimiliano Allegri looking for attacking reinforcements. The Azzurri would prefer a loan with an option or obligation to buy, but Chelsea are currently not open to that formula.

Como, led by Cesc Fabregas, are also keeping an eye on the situation after already holding talks with Chelsea for other players, while Atletico Madrid remain long-term admirers and could offer Garnacho the chance to return to his hometown.

For Roma, Garnacho remains an ambitious and difficult profile, but his availability is one to monitor if Chelsea’s position softens later in the window.
