Corriere dello Sport: Genoa Continue Push for Roma Striker Artem Dovbyk

Genoa are continuing to push for Artem Dovbyk as Daniele De Rossi looks to strengthen his attack.

According to Corriere dello Sport, De Rossi is personally keeping pressure on the deal for the Ukrainian striker, whom he helped bring to Roma in the summer of 2024.

Dovbyk is currently on the margins of Gian Piero Gasperini’s technical project, and Roma are looking to generate funds from his exit. At the moment, Genoa appear to be the club showing the strongest interest.

The formula being discussed would be a loan with an option to buy, although Roma would prefer to raise money immediately for the 1997-born forward.

The main obstacle remains Dovbyk’s salary, which is considered too high for Genoa. For that reason, a contribution from Roma may be needed if the operation is to move forward.
