Roma sporting director Tony D’Amico will not only have to work on incoming signings this summer, but also on finding solutions for players who are no longer part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans.
One of those names is Anass Salah-Eddine, the Moroccan left-back currently involved at the World Cup alongside Roma teammate Neil El Aynaoui.
Salah-Eddine had been linked with a move to Real Betis, but that options seems to have closed definitively. According to Matteo Moretto, Betis have reached a definitive agreement with Real Madrid for Fran Garcia, who is now one step away from signing a four-year contract with the Seville club.
That development could affect Salah-Eddine’s future, with Roma still looking to sell the player this summer.
For now, the decision is expected after Morocco’s World Cup run. Once his tournament is over, Salah-Eddine will evaluate the offers that arrive at Trigoria, while Roma’s intention remains clear: find a permanent exit.
