Alfredo Pedullà: Nicolò Tresoldi Now Roma’s Preferred Target in Attack

Roma could adjust their transfer strategy around Artem Dovbyk in the coming hours.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the original idea inside the club had been clear: first sell Dovbyk, then bring in a new striker. However, that approach may now be changing.

Roma could instead decide to move early for another forward before finding a solution for the Ukrainian striker. It would represent an important shift in the Giallorossi’s market strategy ahead of next season.

One of the tracks currently open leads to Nicolò Tresoldi. Roma are interested in the Club Brugge striker and could try to anticipate the competition by making their move before the Dovbyk situation is fully resolved.

For now, the operation remains one to monitor, but Pedullà’s update suggests Roma may not wait passively for an outgoing deal before acting in attack.

Update from Filippo Biafora:

Filippo Biafora confirms that if Artem Dovbyk leaves Roma this summer, one profile the Giallorossi like is Nicolò Tresoldi of Club Brugge.

The striker has reportedly given his full availability for a possible move to Roma during the first contacts held with the intermediary handling the operation.
