Roma have recently been linked with Alejandro Garnacho as the club continues to search for high-level attacking reinforcements for Gian Piero Gasperini.
According to Fabrizio Romano the Chelsea winger is understood to be on the Giallorossi’s list, although no advanced negotiation has taken place at this stage.
After spending heavily on the market, Chelsea are now reportedly open to selling Garnacho if they receive an offer considered suitable. However, the London club’s position is clear: they would only consider a permanent transfer, rather than a loan formula.
That condition makes the operation complicated for Roma, especially given the likely cost of the deal. Still, Garnacho remains one of the names to watch as sporting director Tony D’Amico continues to evaluate attacking options for the final third.
Update from Filippo Biafora:
According to Il Tempo‘s Filippo Biafora, several attacking names have been circulating around Roma in recent hours, including Alejandro Garnacho.
The Giallorossi have reportedly made an initial inquiry for the Chelsea winger, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
At the moment, however, Garnacho is not open to a loan move. The situation could change later in the window if no club meets Chelsea’s current asking price.
