Francesco Totti’s name continues to be linked with a possible return to Roma, years after his departure from the club.
According to Radio Manà Manà, the Friedkin ownership recently made a second attempt to bring the former captain back to Trigoria after an initial proposal failed to produce an agreement.
The idea was to involve Totti in Roma’s organizational structure, also with the club’s centenary approaching. The second offer was reportedly revised compared to the first, including a higher salary but a shorter contract length.
Despite the changes, Totti’s position has not changed. The former number 10 has reportedly rejected the new proposal as well, believing that the conditions for a return to the club are not yet in place.
For now, Totti remains outside Roma’s official structure, even as his name continues to carry enormous symbolic weight around the Giallorossi project.
