Alejandro Garnacho for Chelsea

Alfredo Pedullà: Garnacho Opens Door to Roma as Moreira Remains Highly Rated

Roma continue to explore several options to strengthen their attack, with Alejandro Garnacho and Diego Moreira among the club’s main targets.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Garnacho has opened the door to a move to the Giallorossi despite interest from other clubs. The Argentine winger is attracted by the possibility of joining Roma, although the structure of any potential deal remains uncertain.

Roma are still evaluating whether to make a significant investment on a permanent transfer, with further discussions expected before a final decision is made.

Pedullà also reports that Roma continue to hold Diego Moreira in high regard. The Strasbourg winger is appreciated by the club, but no official offer has been submitted at this stage. The Belgian is currently valued at around €40 million, making any potential deal a challenging one.

As the transfer window progresses, Roma will continue to assess both situations while deciding which winger to prioritize for Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.

Update from Gianluca Di Marzio:

Roma remain interested in Alejandro Garnacho, but there is still a significant gap between the two clubs over the terms of a potential deal.

The Giallorossi’s preferred formula is a paid loan with an option to buy that would become mandatory under certain conditions, while Chelsea are currently insisting on a €40 million permanent transfer leaving negotiations at a standstill for the time being.
