Roma continue to push for attacking reinforcements, with Alejandro Garnacho, Diego Moreira, and Nicolò Tresoldi all remaining on the club’s radar.
According to Checco Casano, the Giallorossi are working hard on a deal for Garnacho.
The main point of discussion with Chelsea is the structure of the transfer. Roma would prefer a deal that includes an option to buy which becomes mandatory under certain sporting conditions, while Chelsea want greater guarantees that the purchase will be completed.
Much could depend on Garnacho himself. If the Argentine winger pushes for the move, it could help bring the two clubs closer together.
Roma are also continuing to work on Diego Moreira, with super-agent Jorge Mendes playing an important role in negotiations. Mendes is trying to help find an agreement that could make the Strasbourg winger’s move to the capital possible.
Meanwhile, the Giallorossi remain active in their pursuit of Nicolò Tresoldi. Talks are progressing, although Casano reports that the negotiation is far from straightforward, with Roma continuing to work through the complexities of a potential deal.
