Diego Moreira is becoming one of the main names on Roma’s list as Tony D’Amico continues to search for a new attacking winger.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the 2004-born Strasbourg winger is a profile that brings everyone into agreement at Trigoria. Roma appreciate his quality, potential and fit for Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
The problem remains the price. Strasbourg currently value Moreira between €35 million and €40 million, a significant figure that D’Amico will try to lower in the coming weeks.
The path is not simple, also because Chelsea remain in the background with a buy-back clause on the player.
Beyond Moreira, Roma are also monitoring other attacking profiles. D’Amico is said to highly appreciate Mika Godts of Ajax, while the Giallorossi are also keeping an eye on Alejandro Garnacho and Kerim Alajbegovic.
For now, Moreira appears to be one of the most shared targets inside the club, but Roma will need to find the right conditions before making a serious move.
