Roma have decided to change coach for their Primavera side, with Mattia Scala set to take charge of the team.
According to Filippo Biafora, new youth sector chief Massimo Margiotta has chosen Scala as the new Primavera coach, bringing an end to Federico Guidi’s spell on the bench.
Guidi’s farewell comes one year before the expiration of his contract, confirming the start of a new technical direction within Roma’s academy.
Scala, who worked with Roma’s Under-18 side, will now make the step up to lead the Primavera as the club continues to reshape its youth sector under Margiotta’s guidance.
