Roma are continuing to evaluate attacking reinforcements, with Can Uzun emerging as one of the most interesting names on Tony D’Amico’s list.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have already opened initial contacts with both Eintracht Frankfurt and the player’s representatives. The same agents also look after Nicolò Tresoldi, another profile being monitored by Roma.
Uzun is considered one of the brightest young talents in the Bundesliga, but the deal would not be simple. Eintracht currently value the 2005-born Turkish attacker at around €45 million, although Roma hope there could be room to negotiate more favorable terms.
The player has also started to make his mark with Turkey, featuring at the World Cup against Paraguay and the United States. Roma see him as a high-potential investment for the future, with D’Amico continuing to monitor the conditions of a possible move.
