Gianluca Di Marzio: Atalanta Step Up Interest in Roma-Linked Kerim Alajbegovic

Kerim Alajbegovic is one of the young attacking profiles being monitored by Roma as the Giallorossi continue to look for reinforcements in the final third.

The Bosnian talent, born in 2007 and owned by Bayer Leverkusen, has been linked with Roma in recent weeks, but another Serie A club is now making concrete moves.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Atalanta have opened new contacts with Alajbegovic’s entourage as they look to move ahead of the competition.

The Bergamo club are trying to convince the player to accept their project and want to anticipate what is expected to be a rich and crowded race for his signature.

Roma remain attentive to the player’s development, but Atalanta’s push could make the operation more complicated for the Giallorossi.
