Roma are continuing their search for a new attacking winger, with Gian Piero Gasperini still waiting for reinforcements in the final third.
One of the names monitored by the Giallorossi is Assane Diao, but competition for the Como forward has increased in recent hours.
According to Matteo Moretto, Galatasaray have now taken concrete steps for the Senegalese talent and are ready to present an offer based on a loan with an obligation to buy. Talks are ongoing and could move forward in the coming days.
Roma are keeping an eye on Diao’s situation, although he is not considered the club’s top priority for the attack. The name still at the top of Tony D’Amico’s list is Alejandro Garnacho.
The Giallorossi have already made inquiries for the Chelsea winger, who is expected to leave the London club this summer. Roma view Garnacho as an ideal profile because of his technical quality, pace and tactical fit.
For now, Roma continue to evaluate several options before making a final decision on their winger target.
