Proposed design for Roma’s new stadium in the Pietralata area

Roma Stadium Project Receives Positive Opinion From Lazio Region

Roma’s plans for a new stadium in Pietralata have taken another important step forward.

The Lazio Region has officially issued a favorable opinion on the club’s Technical and Economic Feasibility Project (PFTE), marking another key milestone in the ongoing Conference of Services process.

In its official statement, the regional authority said it found no critical issues or obstacles that would prevent the construction of the new stadium.

The statement also clarified that the area selected for the project is not subject to landscape protection restrictions under Italy’s Cultural Heritage Code, removing another potential hurdle in the approval process.

The positive opinion represents another boost for Roma’s long-awaited stadium project as the club continues to work toward securing all the necessary approvals before construction can begin.
