Roma have reportedly added another high-profile name to their list of attacking targets.
According to Tele Radio Stereo, the Giallorossi have made an inquiry about Gabriel Martinelli, whose contract with Arsenal runs until 2027.
The Brazilian winger was reportedly proposed to Roma by international agents who are exploring possible solutions for his future. While there are no negotiations currently underway, the club has gathered information on the player’s situation.
One of the main obstacles to any potential deal is Martinelli’s salary. The Arsenal forward reportedly earns around £11 million gross per season, including bonuses, making any move to the capital financially challenging.
For now, Roma’s interest remains at the inquiry stage as sporting director Tony D’Amico continues to evaluate several options to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
