Corriere dello Sport: Soulé’s Agent in England for Talks with Sunderland and Fulham

Matias Soulé’s future at Roma remains uncertain as Premier League interest in the Argentine winger continues to grow.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Soulé’s agent is currently in England holding talks with Sunderland and Fulham, two clubs that have shown concrete interest in signing the 22-year-old this summer.

Roma had hoped to sell Soulé before the beginning of July to help meet UEFA settlement agreement requirements, but no formal offers arrived. On June 30, the player’s agent dismissed speculation surrounding his client’s future, insisting that while several clubs had made inquiries, none had submitted a concrete proposal.

The Giallorossi are now waiting for offers in the region of €35 million. With Soulé carrying a book value of around €15.5 million, a sale at that price would generate a capital gain of roughly €20-21 million for the club.

As negotiations continue, the coming days could prove decisive in determining whether Soulé remains at Trigoria or begins a new chapter in the Premier League.
