Matias Soulé is back in Rome after spending his holiday in Argentina and is set to report to Trigoria on Monday for the start of Roma’s pre-season under Gian Piero Gasperini.
But questions remain over the Argentine’s future.
Speaking to Il Romanista after landing in the Italian capital, Soulé admitted that he is still unsure what the coming weeks will bring.
“Will I stay? I honestly don’t know.”
The 22-year-old has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks, with Sunderland and Fulham among the sides reportedly interested. Roma are open to listening to offers for the winger if the club’s valuation is met, but no agreement has been reached so far.
For now, Soulé will join his teammates at Trigoria, with his future likely to become one of the key storylines of Roma’s summer transfer window.
