Diego Moreira has emerged as one of Roma’s top targets as the club looks to strengthen the left wing ahead of the new season.
According to Sky Sport, the 2004-born Strasbourg player is highly regarded by both the Giallorossi hierarchy and head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who sees the Belgian as an ideal fit thanks to his versatility and attacking qualities.
However, completing the deal will not be easy. Strasbourg are reportedly demanding €50 million for Moreira, a figure that currently puts the transfer out of Roma’s reach.
The Giallorossi are instead preparing an opening offer worth around €30 million, leaving a significant gap between the two clubs’ valuations.
Negotiations are expected to continue, but Roma will need to find a way to bridge the €20 million difference if they are to land one of their priority targets this summer.
