Roma’s top attacking targets this summer remain Alejandro Garnacho and Diego Moreira, but both deals are proving difficult due to their hefty price tags.
Chelsea are currently demanding around €50 million for Garnacho, while Strasbourg have set the same valuation for Moreira, making negotiations challenging for the Giallorossi.
However, according to Alfredo Pedullà, there could be a unique opportunity to unlock both transfers. Chelsea and Strasbourg are owned by the BlueCo consortium led by Todd Boehly, with the French club operating as a development team for many of Chelsea’s young talents.
That shared ownership could pave the way for a broader agreement involving both players. Rather than negotiating two completely separate deals, Roma could explore a package with BlueCo that helps all parties reach a compromise.
While negotiations remain at an early stage, the connection between Chelsea and Strasbourg could become an important factor as Roma continue working to bring both Garnacho and Moreira to the capital.
