Alejandro Garnacho for Chelsea

Corriere della Sera: Roma Hope Chelsea Open Door to Garnacho Loan

Roma remain interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho, with the Argentine winger continuing to feature prominently on the club’s shortlist for the summer transfer window.

According to Corriere della Sera, Garnacho has been offered to the Giallorossi and is open to a move to the Italian capital. The 2004-born attacker is appreciated at Trigoria as a player capable of adding quality and pace to Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.

However, Roma are only willing to pursue the deal under specific conditions. The club have made it clear they are not prepared to sign Garnacho on a permanent transfer this summer and have instead proposed a loan deal with an option to buy.

Chelsea’s preference remains a permanent sale, but the English club have not yet issued a definitive rejection of Roma’s proposal. That has left the Giallorossi hopeful that, if no suitable offers arrive, the Blues could become more open to negotiating a loan later in the transfer window.

For now, Roma continue to monitor the situation closely, believing there is still a chance that Garnacho could become one of the club’s marquee signings this summer.
