Roma have received a timely boost ahead of the start of pre-season, with Wesley expected to report to Trigoria fully fit.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Brazilian has completed his recovery from the muscle injury that forced him to miss the FIFA World Cup with Brazil. Over the past few weeks, Wesley has followed a personalized rehabilitation program without interrupting his training.
The full-back is now expected to arrive at the Fulvio Bernardini Training Centre tomorrow for the start of Roma’s pre-season camp under Gian Piero Gasperini.
His return comes as welcome news for the Giallorossi, who will begin preparations for the 2026/27 campaign with one of their key wide players back at full fitness after overcoming his injury setback.
