Roma are continuing to work on multiple attacking reinforcements, with Alejandro Garnacho, Diego Moreira, and Nicolò Tresoldi remaining the club’s three priority targets this summer.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Giallorossi are confident they can remain in the race for Garnacho by finding a transfer formula capable of convincing Chelsea. Rather than pursuing an immediate permanent transfer, Roma are pushing for a loan deal with either an option or conditional obligation to buy, believing there is still room for negotiations.
Pedullà adds that Roma’s ongoing talks with Strasbourg for Diego Moreira could indirectly help discussions with Chelsea, given that both clubs are part of the BlueCo ownership group.
Negotiations for Garnacho are no longer at the exploratory stage. Roma have already made official contact with Chelsea and intend to keep working on the deal rather than waiting until the final days of the transfer window.
Meanwhile, Roma remain fully committed to signing Nicolò Tresoldi, although the negotiations with Club Brugge will require patience. The striker continues to wait for the Giallorossi as the two clubs seek an agreement.
Pedullà also reports that Crysencio Summerville has re-entered Roma’s plans. The West Ham winger, first linked with the club earlier this summer, has once again been proposed to the Giallorossi after his transfer to Manchester United failed to materialize. Roma continue to rate the Dutchman highly, and contacts have recently resumed.
Pedullà also dismissed speculation linking Gabriel Martinelli with Roma, describing reports of a move for the Arsenal winger as unrealistic given his salary, contract situation, and market value.
As things stand, Moreira, Garnacho, and Tresoldi remain Roma’s primary objectives, with Summerville once again emerging as a serious alternative as the summer transfer window gathers pace.
