Roma remain determined to sign Nicolò Tresoldi, but the race for the highly rated striker is becoming increasingly competitive.
According to Fussballdaten.de, Atlético Madrid have already secured the player’s approval, although their opening offer to Club Brugge was rejected for falling below the Belgian club’s valuation. Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also closely monitoring the 2004-born forward, further intensifying the battle for his signature.
Despite the growing interest, Alfredo Pedullà reports that Tresoldi has made Roma his priority. However, contrary to previous speculation, Club Brugge’s initial asking price is believed to be higher than €25 million, making negotiations more complicated.
Meanwhile, Nicolò Schira reports that Roma have already reached an agreement with Tresoldi on a contract running until 2031. The striker has chosen the Giallorossi over several Bundesliga offers, leaving Roma’s sporting director Tony D’Amico with the task of reaching a final agreement with Club Brugge.
With several European clubs circling, Roma will need to move quickly if they are to turn the player’s preference into a completed transfer.
