Roma have taken an important step forward in their pursuit of Crysencio Summerville after positive talks with the player’s representatives.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi made progress on the player’s side during today’s meeting bringing the club closer to reaching an agreement on personal terms with the Dutch winger.
Despite the encouraging developments Summerville is currently considered an alternative to Diego Moreira rather than an additional signing. At this stage, completing deals for both players appears highly unlikely due to the financial demands involved.
Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho remains a separate negotiation altogether. Roma continue to work on the Argentine independently, with his situation not affecting discussions involving either Summerville or Moreira.
