Roma have taken a significant step in their pursuit of Alejandro Garnacho, reaching a full agreement with the player on personal terms.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi have already finalized the contract agreement with the Argentine winger, who has emerged as one of Gian Piero Gasperini’s top targets to strengthen the attack.
Romano describes Garnacho as a genuine market opportunity for Roma, while negotiations continue on separate tracks for Crysencio Summerville and Diego Moreira, two other players the club continues to monitor closely.
With the agreement now in place on the player’s side, Roma’s focus shifts to reaching a deal with Chelsea, who remain in discussions with the Giallorossi over the structure of a potential transfer. The Premier League club are understood to prefer a permanent sale, while Roma are pushing for a loan with a conditional obligation to buy.
Securing Garnacho’s approval represents an important breakthrough for Roma, leaving the clubs to negotiate the final details as sporting director Tony D’Amico looks to deliver one of the marquee signings of the summer.
