Filippo Biafora: Roma Secure Future Fees in Baldanzi and Alessandro Romano Deals

Roma have already completed two notable outgoing transfers this summer, with Tommaso Baldanzi joining Genoa and Alessandro Romano moving to Cagliari.

According to Filippo Biafora, speaking on Manà Manà Sport, both deals include loan agreements with mandatory purchase clauses that are not tied to performance-related conditions.

For Alessandro Romano, the total fee is valued at just under €5 million, with the transfer set to become permanent on March 31, 2027.

Meanwhile, Baldanzi’s mandatory purchase clause will be activated earlier, with Genoa expected to complete the permanent transfer at the beginning of February 2027.

The structure of both deals allows Roma to secure guaranteed future income while giving the two young players the opportunity for regular first-team football away from the capital.
