Mana Sport: Roma Interest in Crysencio Summerville Confirmed Despite Trigoria Meeting Denial

Roma remain firmly interested in Crysencio Summerville, but reports of a face-to-face meeting with the player’s entourage at Trigoria have been denied.

According to Mana Sport, the Giallorossi have resumed contacts with the representatives of the West Ham winger as they continue their search for attacking reinforcements for Gian Piero Gasperini.

Summerville’s agent is currently in Rome to finalize Danilho Doekhi’s transfer to Lazio, prompting speculation that discussions with Roma had also taken place. However, Mana Sport reports that no meeting was held at Trigoria, dismissing rumors of a transfer summit between the parties.

Despite that, Roma’s interest in the Dutch winger remains genuine. The club continue to admire Summerville’s profile, but any potential move is expected to be difficult due to West Ham’s high valuation, the player’s wage demands, and competition from other clubs.

Roma are not prepared to enter a bidding war and will only move forward if the financial conditions become favorable. Summerville remains one of several attacking targets being monitored as sporting director Tony D’Amico works to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
