Roma have taken another concrete step in their pursuit of Crysencio Summerville, holding positive talks with the winger’s representatives as the club continues its search for attacking reinforcements.
According to Matteo Moretto, a meeting took place in Rome today between the Giallorossi hierarchy and Summerville’s agents. The discussions were positive, confirming Roma’s strong interest in the Dutch winger, although West Ham continue to value the player at around £50 million.
Alfredo Pedullà adds that the summit lasted approximately one hour, with Roma making their financial parameters clear. The Giallorossi are prepared to move forward if the transfer fee can be kept below €40 million, while offering the player a contract worth €4 million per season.
Despite interest from several Premier League clubs, Roma remain highly convinced by Summerville’s profile and are now awaiting the player’s response, which could arrive as early as today.
Summerville has emerged as one of Roma’s leading attacking targets alongside Diego Moreira and Alejandro Garnacho, with sporting director Tony D’Amico continuing to work on multiple fronts to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad before the new season.
