Roma’s summer transfer window is expected to gather pace following the arrival of Ryan Friedkin at Trigoria.
After Gian Piero Gasperini officially began his second season in charge, the Roma coach stressed the importance of the club’s ownership being present during a crucial stage of the market.
“They will arrive in the next few hours. Their presence will be fundamental. The transfer market is all about speed and immediate decisions, just as it was in January. Their presence is certainly decisive.”
Speaking about the club’s ambitions, Gasperini added:
“We hope to strengthen this team and respond to the enthusiasm of a city that has already purchased so many season tickets.”
According to Il Romanista, Ryan Friedkin arrived at the Fulvio Bernardini Training Centre this morning, where he is expected to meet with the club’s management as Roma look to push forward with several key negotiations.
The Giallorossi are currently working on multiple transfer targets, with Alejandro Garnacho and Diego Moreira remaining the priority signings to reinforce the attack.
Roma are also keeping a close eye on developments involving Crysencio Summerville, whose representatives are expected to remain in contact with the club as discussions over a potential move continue.
With Friedkin now on site and the transfer window entering a decisive phase, Roma are hoping to turn negotiations into concrete signings in the coming days.
