Endrick for Real Madrid

Corriere della Sera: Roma Prioritize Permanent Signings Over Loan Deals with Endrick Interest

Roma are making one thing clear in this summer’s transfer window: the club wants to invest in players it can build around for the future rather than relying on short-term loan deals.

According to Corriere della Sera, Ryan Friedkin, Gian Piero Gasperini, and sporting director Tony D’Amico are aligned on a strategy focused on strengthening the squad with permanent additions. The ownership has backed the club’s transfer plans and is prepared to support key investments.

That approach explains why negotiations for Diego Moreira have progressed quickly. Roma have already reached an agreement with the Belgian and submitted two offers to Strasbourg, with talks continuing between the clubs.

The report also confirms that Roma recently gathered information on Endrick, but the deal is considered close to impossible. While the Brazilian could leave Real Madrid in search of regular playing time, the Giallorossi are not interested in signing players on loan.

That policy significantly complicates any move for Endrick, as Real Madrid are expected to prefer a temporary transfer. Instead, Roma remain focused on signing players on permanent deals, with Moreira and Crysencio Summerville continuing to headline the club’s transfer plans.
