Roma have taken a major step toward securing the core of Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad, reaching agreements on multiple contract renewals ahead of the new season.
According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Bryan Cristante has agreed to extend his contract with the Giallorossi. The agreement is complete, with only the official signatures remaining before the renewal is announced.
The same applies to Zeki Çelik, whose extension has also been finalized, including the signing of all necessary documents.
Meanwhile, Roma are awaiting final approval from the Friedkin ownership before proceeding with Lorenzo Pellegrini’s renewal. Talks have progressed significantly, but the captain’s extension has yet to be formally completed.
Romano and Moretto also report that Gianluca Mancini has reached a full agreement on a new contract. The defender is now only awaiting the formal signing of the deal, while reports linking him with Inter have been dismissed, with the Nerazzurri never making a concrete move.
Further confirmation comes from Filippo Biafora, who reports that a recent meeting with the players’ agent resulted in a breakthrough for both Cristante and Mancini, allowing Roma to resolve their contract situations before the start of the new campaign.
While work continues on Pellegrini’s renewal, Roma have now secured agreements with three key first-team players, reinforcing the foundation of Gasperini’s project ahead of the 2026-27 season.
