Roma continue to explore the international market as they search for a top-quality winger, but one of their latest targets appears increasingly difficult to sign.
According to TeamTalk, the Giallorossi have renewed their interest in Antonio Nusa, with sporting director Tony D’Amico continuing to evaluate several attacking options for Gian Piero Gasperini.
The highly rated RB Leipzig winger is admired by Roma. However, a move is considered unlikely because of the financial demands involved and growing competition from the Premier League.
The report states that both Arsenal and Liverpool are closely monitoring the 2005-born Norwegian international. Liverpool, in particular, are searching for a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah and have identified Nusa as one of their preferred targets.
With two of England’s biggest clubs now in the race, Roma face an uphill battle to secure the talented winger. The Giallorossi remain active on several fronts as they continue their pursuit of attacking reinforcements, but Nusa is becoming one of the most difficult deals to complete this summer.
