Manchester United and Chelsea continue to monitor Manu Koné, but Roma have no intention of selling the midfielder unless circumstances change according to La Repubblica‘s Marco Juric.
The French international remains a target for both Premier League clubs after another impressive season. Even so, Roma’s priority is to keep one of their key players as they prepare for the new campaign under Gian Piero Gasperini.
The report states that the Giallorossi will explore every possible option to build a competitive squad without sacrificing any of their top talents.
While interest in Koné remains strong, the club are determined to resist offers for as long as possible.
Only if Roma are unable to balance their plans in other ways could the situation change later in the transfer window. For now, the club’s intention is clear: keep Manu Koné in the capital.
